Description
This is my wifes car, we have owned it from when it had 50 miles on it, as a garage demonstrator. It has only done 11,600 miles from new and has been serviced annually NOT on miles travelled. With such low milage it looks and runs like new. It is a lovely little car in beautiful metallic red, not the "tomato" red of many I10's.
The autotrader automatic price estimated that it should be worth over 9.5K
SO WHY IS IT SO CHEAP?
Well, between 2017-2019 inclusive, Hyundai had a severe problem with the infotainment unit fitted to the I10, and ours suffered from it too (see internet/hyundai forums) the unit failed and no sound comes out of it. We took it to the dealer and they tried, but failed, to fix it, and, because it was out of warranty they will not replace it, very dissapointing. HOWEVER, all is not lost. Whoever buys it can hunt for a second hand unit (which run at about 250 pounds if you can find one) or an all singing/dancing aftermarket unit can be fitted for about 1500 pounds. Hence our asking price being over 2k below what it should be, to compensate for this. (with either fix there is a minimum saving of 500 pounds)
Other than this the car is in tip top condition, any examination welcome, it is just nice and quiet inside. It really is nice to drive. It makes a great cheap to run second car OR a fabulous first car for a youngster.
