We're regretfully selling our beloved California Ocean. It's finished in a beautiful pearlescent white which gleams as the sun catches it. It has VWs 4MOTION four wheel drive technology, which has helped us out of a muddy camping field on more than one occasion, and also has Bilstein suspension fitted to give a more 'planted' and capable ride on the road. The R-Line style front bumper and gloss black alloy wheels are eye-catching on the road and more so when parked up at a campsite. There's an electrically operated pop-top roof, which takes seconds to operate (with zero effort), meaning you can be set up quickly once you've arrived at your pitch. The 'upstairs' bed is also extremely comfy, with its cantilever sprung frame and mattress topper, making it a genuine bed option for anyone, not just somewhere for the kids to sleep. The DSG Automatic gear box makes for a very easy drive, and the front & rear parking sensors, including a rear parking camera, make it extremely simple to manoeuvre. The quality of the finish inside is what you'd expect from a VW flagship model. Everything is just so well integrated, and well thought out, which is what made us choose the California over a conversion. There's a diesel heater which keeps you nice and warm on cold nights, two new leisure batteries were fitted in April 2025, and it's had full yearly services and been well looked after. Unfortunately we are selling for a genuine reason, due to ill health and a change in personal circumstances. We've had no issues with the van for the time we've owned it, and it's taken us around Europe on some great holidays. I truly hope someone gets as much enjoyment out of this as we've had over the years, and continues the adventures for our cherished Myrtle!
