Description
We are delighted to offer this truly unique and extensively re-engineered TVR M Series, originally a 1972 3000M and subsequently transformed into an exceptional V8-powered example through a complete nut-and-bolt rebuild.
At the heart of the car is a fully rebuilt Ford Motorsport 331 V8 engine producing approximately 400bhp, paired with a Tremec T5 manual gearbox with Quaife internals and a rebuilt Powerlok limited-slip differential. The chassis has been replaced and re-engineered, with upgraded AP Racing brakes, Gaz adjustable dampers, bespoke Eibach springs and a fully poly-bushed suspension setup.
The fibreglass body was fully restored by Surface & Design in Blackpool before being finished in BMW Pepper White, professionally paint-corrected and ceramic coated. The car retains its original refurbished 15-inch Wolfrace alloy wheels.
Inside, it has been fully retrimmed in high-grade leather with leather-bound Wilton carpets, Alcantara headlining, a restored factory sunroof, Smiths Classic instruments and a heated front windscreen.
Further upgrades include custom exhaust manifolds, a bespoke stainless-steel exhaust, modified Griffith alloy radiator, twin cooling fans and a new cloth-bound wiring loom.
Having covered only nominal mileage since completion, this is an incredibly special and beautifully executed M Series, offering serious performance, outstanding presentation and a specification that would be extremely difficult to replicate today.
