Description
After Alpina's success in the 2011 ADAC GT Masters the brand saw an opportunity to revive a long standing tradition of creating ultra low number limited editions with this car - the B3 GT3. With modifications to the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, wheels and exhaust this is certainly no vanity project and aligns itself with BMW's own M3 GTS.
This Mineral White metallic example is one of 99 units built worldwide with this car 1 of just 4 ever made in RHD. It presents in fantastic condition, with only a handful of touched in stone chips to the bonnet and a small break in the paint at the bottom of the splitter.
Aerodynamics - never seen before on an Alpina - ensure a concerted effort was made to completely dial out lift with front splitter, dive planes, rear diffuser and rear wing all working to optimise balance at high speed. Always renowned for ride quality, Alpina have done it again with this car; so capable in balancing the firm with the supple these models are known for. Brake feel is fantastic - easy to modulate but with a reassuring bite at the top of the pedal.
Leather and Alcantara combine to form an incredible interior space with the heated Recaro Sportster CS featuring the iconic blue / green stripes and the infamous pin badge. These are of course foldable to allow rear seat access, as well as being height adjustable via mounting points. Stitched Wheel, centre console and gear knob are covered in smooth alcantara whilst both the door and dash inlays also feature the material with that Alpina logo sitting pride of place on the near side. Old school cool (if you know, you know) optional dash vent dial provides all the vital statistics.
Highlights include a revised titanium exhaust system courtesy of Akrapovic, a bespoke adjustable coilover suspension / adjustable camber plates built in collaboration with KW, a Drexler LSD and a big brake kit from Stoptech; 6 piston at the front, 4 at the rear. Bespoke mapping and TCU firmware for the ZF gearbox actually matches the characteristics of the N54 really quite well.
The car was PDI'd with Sytner in June of 2012 and subsequently returned to Nottingham on 9 occasions with it's most recent visit to the home of Alpina UK at 25,918 miles in 2022 for brake pads, bonnet struts and an exhaust clamp. The most recent stamp in the book was from Hexagon in October of 2025 at 26,030 miles. An in-house oil and filter change was also carried out in Feb.
