The car has been reliable during my ownership, but it recently failed an MOT that I booked early, before the existing MOT was due to expire. The previous MOT certificate remains valid until 30 September 2026. However, the latest test recorded a dangerous suspension defect, so the car must not be driven until it has been repaired. The buyer will therefore need to arrange suitable collection. The MOT defects are: Nearside front suspension arm ball joint likely to become detached, with the stem loose in the hub dangerous defect Nearside track rod end ball joint dust cover excessively damaged or deteriorated so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt major defect Nearside headlamp lens defective minor defect Offside headlamp lens slightly defective minor defect Oil leak, but not excessive advisory I was quoted approximately 485 by the garage to repair the MOT defects. This was the quote from that garage only, so buyers should make their own assessment and obtain their own quote if required. The locking wheel nut key is missing and was not supplied when I bought the car. The V5C is present and the vehicle is registered in my name. Buyers are welcome to inspect it, but no test drives are possible due to the dangerous MOT defect.
