2008 Toyota Avensis 1.8 TR petrol manual, finished in silver. Reliable and practical Toyota Avensis, being sold because I now have a company car and no longer need it. The car has covered 181,856 miles and has an MOT until 9 June 2027. It starts, runs and drives well, with no known engine or gearbox problems and no dashboard warning lights. It has been maintained and serviced by a local garage, so there is no stamped or formal service history. The tyres are in excellent condition, with approximately: - 7 mm tread on the front tyres - 6 mm tread on the rear tyres The car comes with two keys, a spare wheel, jack and locking wheel-nut key. All interior equipment, including the electric windows, works correctly. The interior is clean and tidy for its age, with seat covers and floor mats fitted. There is no major interior damage or cracking. The air-conditioning controls and fan operate, but the system currently does not blow cold air, because it needs re-gassing. The bodywork has general age- and mileage-related wear. The nearside front wing has visible paint/lacquer crazing and discolouration, as shown in the photographs. This was already present when I bought the car and has been reflected in the asking price. There are no known mechanical problems, and the car is not recorded as an insurance write-off. A straightforward, usable car with a long MOT, excellent tyre tread and Toyota reliability. Viewings and inspections are welcome.
