Description

Ideal first car or a cheap run around. The perfect balance between comfort and running cost. Very cheap road tax, insurance and parts. Good spec with aircon, alloys and surround speakers. Drives very well. Mechanically sound with the ford 1.2 engine. This was my first car, which I owned for 3.5 years. I put around 15k miles onto it, commuting to university and back. The reason for selling, my Dad sold me his car which was an upgrade. I loved owning the car, I put a large amount of time and money into the car. The major items which I replaced in my ownership with new parts: -Clutch (has 2.5k miles on it replaced in December) -Starter motor (February) -Alternator (April) -Battery -Clutch Master cylinder -Lower engine mount -Pedal position sensor -Windscreen The car mechanically is pretty much brand new, there is nothing majorly left to replace. The car was so easy to work, I could do all the mechanical work myself. It has a full service history, including log book, service book and all the receipts organize in a plastic bag. I serviced it religiously every year, last service was on 21/03/2026, 1k miles ago. Last full service (including spark plugs) was last year. The list of parts replaced sounds long, but I never got stuck anywhere and the parts are so cheap that you can just replace for diagnostic purposes. I polished the car ready for sale. The body work is not perfect, having likely had repairs in the past. During my time, the clear coat started to peel. I fixed this in some areas, which is obvious due to mismatch in color. The head unit was upgraded before my time, the radio does not work due to a known fault with the electrics in the antenna. Car comes with one key, a few spare parts which I never installed (control arm bushings, clutch fork and loads of bulbs), spare space saver tyre with tools and a spare moderate health battery. The QR seen in the pictures, is a detailed digital log of everything I've done. My own digital service history which you can view online, by scanning the QR code. The next owner can download this as pdf and continue the history. I'm sad to see this car go, first cars are always precious. I hope it can go to a good new family as it has plenty of life left. It has been sitting for the last few months due my dissertation but it's very clean now ready for it's new owner. I can't offer a test drives due to SORN tax status, but I live near a large car park which I'm happy for anyone to have a quick drive around in.
