Description

I've owned the car for almost 10 years and it's never let me down. Mechanically this car is perfect and wants for nothing. The front discs and pads have been changed in the last 300 miles with quality parts. All four tyres are Pirelli P-Zero run flats with loads of life left in them. You're basically getting a car that's ready to go trouble free. I've changed the oil ever 6-7000 miles using only Castrol Edge, and Mann filters which are exactly what BMW use. it doesn't use a drop of oil between changes. I've done 130k miles in this car and because I kept it so long I maintained it well above BMW servicing specks. The car never let me down but I always maintained it as I was keeping it for so long. Therefore prevention is better than cure so I've had the following work done. New Mitsubishi Turbo Intercooler DPF with all values rest at a garage. Dual mass flywheel and clutch And the notorious timing change was done while all the other work was completed. All this work was done at approximately 150-160k miles. The cars interior is in excellent condition. The car has never failed to start and I get 640 miles out of a tank with spirited driving, on a long run I can get in the top end of 700 miles from a tank. I've fitted the larger screen from Droid Uk which comes with a rear view camera and supports Apple CarPlay and Android auto. The passenger window switch is sometimes temperamental which is a wiring issue to that switch, because it works fine from the drivers switch controls. The car stars and drives like a car with a lot less miles so don't let the miles put you off, this car has many many more miles in it if you continue to oil change it regularly. As can be expected the body work has age relate marks. Just thirty pounds a year to tax for a big 2.0 family car.
