Description

Reluctantly for sale my Saab 9-3 convertible 2006, with low mileage (83,000), manual gearbox giving it the lower tax band compared to the 2006 onwards automatic. MOT until December. I have a fleet of Saabs that I need to scale back! This car was on display at the Bromley Pageant of Motoring on the 19th of July if you were there. It drives beautifully and is a real joy to take out. I have 1 programmed key (fully working) and 1 spare key that would need to be cut and programmed with tech2. Noobtune stage 1 ECU (220bhp) and ECU heat shield fitted. Work done this Spring: - Full service (Genuine GM Dexos2 oil, oil filter, air filter, activate carbon pollen filter). - New genuine Saab inner and outer track rods, and Hunter alignment. - New nsf wheel bearing (Febi). - New wing mirror glass both sides as the heating element wasn't working previously. - Flushed and replaced roof fluid with new CHF fluid. - Roof re waterproofed, seals treated and a dodgy seal replaced. I replaced one seal but could only buy a complete set, so the extra seals will come with the car. - New badges and shark fin aerial. - Headlights polished and ceramic coated. Bad points: - It has a small scrape to the plastic at the very bottom of the front bumper / splitter on one corner, and a couple of small door dings on one side (not breached the paint). - It has the usual bubbles on the tonneau cover, although being an aluminium panel this isn't rust / structural. Wheel arches are completely sound. - Theft protection warning on the SID when you start the car, it must be a sensor but I'm not sure which. The alarm doesn't go off randomly and is triggered as usual by jacking the car up or sticking an arm in an open window. - Minor exhaust blow. - Air con blows warm and I haven't investigated, could just need a re gas but it hasn't bothered me.
