For sale is our funky little VW Fox in brilliant Tornado red we call Scarlet. She has been in our family since 2010, firstly owned by my aunt then my wife. In that time both my son and daughter have learnt to drive in her and in the last 3yrs she has been a run about at our holiday home in Wales but sadly we can't justify keeping her as she isn't being used enough having only covered 6.5k since 2023. Scarlet is serviced each year and has been maintained regardless of cost so this 3 owner car is in fantastic condition. The bodywork is in near perfect condition for her age with no rust anywhere and only a couple of very minor carpark blemishes. She has been washed and polished regularly keeping that deep lush red paint looking good. The whole car was restyled 6yrs ago around the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo with a black roof and matching roof spoiler, sports decals and black powder coated VW Polo TSI 15" alloy wheels which are unmarked and shod with tyres carrying 5-6mm all round. She was MOT'd at the end of April and had all required works completed inc. both front discs & pads along with a front CV boot at a cost of over 300pounds. The bonnet has been resprayed about 6yrs ago due to the usual age related lacquer peel on red cars and the grille was restyled and painted at the same time with colour coded eyelets to give the headlights a sharper look. The car sits on Polo sports suspension coils giving it a lower and sporter stance as the VW Fox sits a bit too high really so this reduces body roll and massively enhances the cars general look. The 1.2L 3cyl petrol engine is completely original and standard so no costly insurance issues to record. The car is cheap to run and maintain and she'd definitely make for a stylish retro looking first car as well as a cheap reliable run around / second car in the family. The interior is clean and basic with no rips/tears or sagging and the boot space is surprisingly large especially with the rear seating slid forward. There is a brand new spare wheel in the boot with a quality tyre. She has had all major works completed in the last 3yrs / 6k miles inc. Timing chain kit, clutch, cylinder head, brake and suspension overhaul at a cost of thousands.
