Reluctantly for sale is my rare Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0 Orvis. I've owned and enjoyed this Jeep for many years and never intended to sell it like this. Unfortunately it has recently failed its MOT due to corrosion underneath requiring welding. I have been advised to allow around 1,500 for the work, which I simply can't justify spending, so I've made the difficult decision to let someone else take it on. Apart from the MOT failure, the Jeep starts first turn of the key, runs beautifully and drives exactly as it should. The legendary 4.0 straight-six engine and automatic gearbox perform faultlessly, and the bodywork and interior are in very good condition for its age. This isn't just another Cherokee - it's the rare Orvis edition, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in such original condition. It passed its previous MOT, and throughout my ownership I've maintained it properly. I have service history, invoices and paperwork documenting the work that's been carried out over the years, all of which will go with the vehicle. The MOT failure sheet is included in the photos so buyers can see exactly what is required.
