Here I have for sale my 2005 MK5 Volkswagen Golf GTI, I've owned this since 2019, with 5 previous owners. The only reason for selling is we've had a child and have bought a bigger car, so unfortunately this has to go, as we don't need 3 cars. The mileage shouldn't change as I'm using my wife's Polo to travel to work as it's more fuel efficient. (Unless I decide to take it for a drive, so it's not sat) It's been serviced by myself every year (all bar this year). With the cam follower checked / replaced every interval, along with the spark plugs and coil packs replaced with R8 ones. Plenty of service history within folder & 2 keys. MOT to 29.01.27, & it's done 126,763 miles I foresee no problems with getting this booked in for a new MOT if needed. We've been in no rush to sell (other priorities) and will get this done if I need to. It's had the camshaft timing chain variator & tensioner replaced (work completed by Mastertech Poole LTD, who are an approved independent VAG garage) costing me 1,350. New BC Racing coilovers which cost me 750 in 2021. Oversized Ramair induction kit which cost me 250 in 2023. 18" 3SDM 0.04 alloys with 225 40 18 Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. Sony XAV-AX3005 media player which has Android/Apple CarPlay. Bad parts: Bodywork has bad lacquer peeling / paint damage as photo'd, (with the roof being the worst) and it has wear to drivers seat bolster. And lastly one picky thing is that there's a slight suspension knock when going over larger bumps (due to lowered suspension). However, It runs and drives lovely, and will be sad to see it go, any questions just ask. I've already priced this lower due to the paintwork, please no time wasters / low ball offers.
