Description
Vauxhall Astra 1.4 active for sale; 2 owners (father & son) my father who purchased it from new from a Vauxhall main dealer which is supported by the original sales documentation and signed document of acceptance supplied at the time of purchase.
My father drove the Astra to 39,000 miles between 2009 and 2024 before retiring from driving in his early 90's, myself (his son) taking the milage to 52,940.
This Astra comes with full Vauxhall main dealer service history from the same main dealer who has maintained the vehicle since selling it to my father from new and also since I took over its ownership. This is supported by the full-service documentation and the Vauxhall service plan that my father took out at the time of purchase. The Astra has always been serviced and maintained with Vauxhall OEM parts.
The car drives and handles exactly as it should, the gears and steering are tight and precise and offer a direct driving experience, the suspension is just as it should be without any unwanted noises from any area of the car and four good and matching tyres.
As you can see from the photo's the interior is as new, and the seats really do look like they have never been sat in, with a complete absence or any mark, stains, tears, fabric pulls and absolutely no loss of shape in any way to the seats. The rest of the interior including the boot and headlining are the same, the car has never had pets in it and has never been smoked in. The two rear interior door cards are slightly loose but this does not detract in any way in appearance or function.
As you can also see from the photos, the Astra also comes with the original and unused Vauxhall Essential Accessories pack and the original and unused spare tyre and jack.
The outside paint work has been well looked after, is a lovely deep blue that looks very attractive, is totally absent of any rust and as you can see, is mirror like. As you would expect from a car this age there are a couple of small marks, a small circular ding forward of the offside driver door but very difficult to spot and a small mark on the top of the rear bumper.
Apart from an interim and main service and the required MOTs (that it has flown through) the only other maintenance work required was an oil pressure and a new suspension coil.
In summary, the Astra is extremely well maintained, fully documented from sale and throughout its life and has many years of reliable service left in it.
