2005 Skoda Octavia vRS Mk1 1.8T 20V Turbo | 95,000 Miles | 2 Owners Rare Mk1 vRS with just 95,000 miles and only 2 registered keepers from new. Enthusiast owned with the original supplying dealer invoice, extensive history and a large folder of receipts. Over 3,000 has been invested during my ownership. Recent work includes replacement O2J gearbox, new clutch kit, dual-mass flywheel, release bearing, rear main oil seal, Bosch oxygen sensor, fuel injectors, iridium spark plugs, rocker cover gasket, cam chain tensioner gasket, Forge uprated turbo diverter valve (approx. 200), rear arms with new Febi bushes, new front ball joints, new rear shock absorbers, and the front subframe removed, treated and refinished rebushed. The engine is dry with no oil leaks, starts first time and pulls strongly through every gear with no smoke or unwanted noises. It was regularly driven on motorway journeys between home and London, allowing the engine and turbo to warm up properly rather than only doing short trips. For the last two years it has been stored off the road in a garage and under a cover. The paintwork is exceptionally well presented for its age, with only a small dink on the front right wing. Interior is clean, original and in excellent condition. The car was also inspected by the workshop manager at P&A Wood, Dunmow (Rolls-Royce & Bentley specialists), who commented positively on its overall mechanical condition. Known faults: * Speedometer/vehicle speed sensor currently not reading (booked in to be repaired, restoring cruise control). * One rear brake caliper occasionally sticks. * Minor driver's door lock issue. * Air conditioning not working. * Front shock absorbers remain serviceable but would benefit from replacement before the next MOT. * Under-engine splash tray currently missing. * Replacement battery tray will be fitted before sale. * Small dink on front right wing. Comes with 1 key (spare lost). Extensive paperwork included. A couple of receipts relating to the clutch and recent work have been misplaced, but proof of purchase can be provided via bank statements if required.
