Description
If you're looking for a completely standard Scirocco, this probably isn't the one. If you want something with a bit more personality, read on.
I'm selling as I'm planning to move abroad and need to free up some funds. The car has been maintained throughout my ownership, comes with partial service history and has been great fun to own.
Finished in a satin black wrap with a gloss black bonnet and matching gloss black wheels, it also benefits from a facelift front bumper and grilles, lowered suspension and a carbon fibre rear wing. An upgraded exhaust and performance air intake greets passersby with "hello" rather than "excuse me".
The purple ambient lighting behind the bonnet vents and upper grille, together with the purple starlight headliner, gives the car a distinctive look after dark. Inside you'll also find black leather heated seats (your winter commute will thank you), along with wiring already installed for a subwoofer should you wish to finish the audio setup.
An upgraded aftermarket multimedia unit is fitted and works, although not all of its features are currently functioning as intended, so a future owner may wish to replace or upgrade it.
You'll have already noticed the Category N marker, so let's address the elephant in the room. Before I owned it, a previous owner had been somewhat creative with their modifications. Over the last two years I've been undoing some of that creativity, carrying out maintenance where needed and bringing the car up to a standard I was happy with. It isn't perfect, and I'm not pretending it is, but it's an honest car with plenty of character that's been well looked after during my ownership.
This is a car with personality. It attracts plenty of second glances and has started more conversations at petrol stations than I ever expected. It certainly won't disappear unnoticed in a supermarket car park.
No, it isn't standard but that's kind of the point.
