Description
Overview
For sale is my Rover Mini finished in metallic green with a gloss black roof, wide sports pack arches, and a custom louvered bonnet, this car turns heads everywhere it goes.
I have invested heavily to build a fantastic foundation. The car is about 90% complete and just needs a new owner to take over the final tuning and cosmetic finishing touches.
Wheels & Tires: Premium gold-centred, deep-dish split-rims by Force Racing. These are highly sought after, incredibly expensive, and in excellent condition
Upgraded front disc brakes and premium finned/vented rear drums for modern stopping power.
Interior: OMP bucket seats up front, with rear seats, and a modern wireless Android Auto head unit custom-fitted to the dash. (Racing harness also included should you choose to remove rear seats).
Exterior: Modernised LED headlights, wide arches, custom cooling bonnet, and a rear-left exit exhaust system.
Engine & Mechanicals (The Foundation)
The core of the engine is very strong. Compression is even and rock-solid across all cylinders, and the head gasket was replaced roughly 500 miles ago.
What it needs: The car currently doesn't start, before storage it idled smoothly, and drove, but it bogs down under load (limiting speed to around 20-35 mph). This is a fuelling/carburettor issue that needs debugging (likely fine-tuning on the SU carb/ float). Because of this, trailer transport is recommended for collection.
Note: A brand new starter motor and throttle disc fitted recently. The car also comes with brand new spare HT leads, points, distributor cap, rotor arm, and condenser (unfitted).
Bodywork & Interior Details
This is an honest, unrestored shell and there are a few age-related imperfections to finish off:
Typical Mini rust bubbling beginning on the driver-side A-pillar/scuttle seam and the lower door edges.
The rear-left plastic wheel arch has a crack on the edge (currently taped to keep it tidy).
The interior requires a new headliner (3 of the 4 required poles are included). The sunroof mechanism works perfectly, but the electrics need to be wired in.
A slight visual oil weep at the front of the block (very common on A-Series engines and does not affect the solid compression).
Summary
This is priced very realistically based on the sheer value of the Force Racing wheels, OMP interior, and disc brake setup alone.
An ideal, straightforward winter project for a Mini enthusiast or mechanic looking to finish.
Offers near asking considered.
