Description
I am selling this relatively low-mileage and very well-maintained W211 E-Class with the ultra-reliable 2.1L OM651 turbo-diesel engine. This thing is regarded as one of the most bulletproof, high-mileage engines Mercedes ever built - very sad to sell it, but got a new, larger SUV.
I am the second owner since 2009, having purchased it in October 2024 at 60,717 miles. It comes with a continuous service history paper trail. I actually have a complete folder containing physical service records and receipts dating all the way back to 2009 (older gentleman as the last owner, was meticulous)
Recent Preventive Maintenance:
I've invested several thousand pounds in preventative maintenance over the past two years:
2026 (~79,000 miles): New front suspension spring link arm ball joints, drive belt, tensioner, alternator pulley, rear brake hoses, gearbox mounts, windshield sprayers, and fresh oil change.
October 2025 (72,781 miles): Full filter service (Pollen, Fuel, Oil, and Air filters).
April 2025 (66,289 miles): Oil & filter change, full brake fluid flush, and coolant change.
Early 2025 (~62,500 miles): Brand new heavy-duty battery and 2 new front tires.
November 2024: Complete gearbox oil and transmission fluid service
Issues to be aware of:
Issue #1: AC compressor has a slow leak, causing the air conditioning to run warm after about a month. A full repair was quoted at 600 quid, and I have discounted the asking price to reflect this.
Issue #2: the rear window defrost button causes static on the radio when in use
Issue #3: tire pressure monitoring system needs a reset (tire pressure fine)
Other than that, this car is a joy to drive. It clocks around +50 MPG on the highway and will very likely never let you down as this model was commonly used as a European taxi in the 2010s, easily exceeding 300,000+ miles (this is why I bought it).
Fuel Economy: 42-52 MPG / Diesel
MOT: Valid until 29th September 2026
