Description
2006 Ford Focus ST-2 ST225 - Electric Orange - 115k - MOT April 2027
Selling my Mk2 Focus ST225 in Electric Orange. Currently on 115,292 miles and rising, as the car is still in regular use.
This is very much an ongoing project rather than a finished car. I'm continuing to work through it mechanically and cosmetically while I own it, so the asking price will increase to reflect further work completed.
It's the proper 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder ST225, paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox. Electric Orange exterior with the original orange/grey ST interior, black alloys, tinted rear glass and black chequered graphics.
A fair amount of recent maintenance has already been completed, including:
Four brand new tyres
New discs and pads all round
New lower control arms
New drop links
Replacement bonnet latch
Replacement gear knob
The car has an MOT until April 2027.
There are currently a couple of known mechanical items being worked through. It has an oil leak which is being investigated/repaired, and a split turbo/boost pipe which is due to be replaced. I'm happy to be completely transparent about what has and hasn't been completed, and the advert will be updated as work progresses.
Cosmetically, this is not a mint example. The bodywork is rough in places with plenty of marks, imperfections and age-related wear, so please don't come expecting a show car. It's a nearly 20-year-old performance Ford that needs cosmetic attention.
That said, it presents as a proper old-school ST and the Electric Orange, black wheels and original ST interior give it loads of character.
The intention has been to steadily refresh the car rather than simply run it into the ground. I'll continue doing that for as long as I own it, meaning the price will move upwards as faults are rectified and further improvements are made.
Ideal for somebody looking for a usable Mk2 ST225 they can continue improving rather than paying top money for a finished example.
115,292 miles and rising.
MOT until April 2027.
Viewings are welcome and encouraged. I'm happy to answer sensible questions and will be completely upfront about the condition, current faults and work carried out.
Please remember this is being advertised as an ongoing project, and the asking price reflects its current condition.
