The time has come for me to sell my pride of joy. I bought this 2002 Porsche Boxster from the previous keeper in Central London who was selling the car due to the incoming ULEZ zone, which in London, this car wouldn't have been able to drive in. (Although it's free to drive in Bristol, Bath and the likes.) He had previously owned the car for 7 years, followed by me, who has now had this car for 4.5 years. This car has carried me and my wife to many car shows, events and was even used as my wedding car. I am heartbroken to be saying good bye to it, however I would like the car to be used and enjoyed rather sitting in storage and me never touching it for the rest of time. The car has covered 124,000 miles from new, which equates to just over 5,000 miles per year over its 24 year life. Therefore the mileage is justified. The car has been well maintained with a decent service record, including receipts from myself for a lot of maintenance work done myself in recent years. The car has not long had 4x new tyres, all new ventilated brake discs and pads all the way around, full poly bushing conversion to the rear end, new suspension springs all round with new suspension struts to the front, a brand new stainless steal exhaust and various service items. I also swapped out the amber lights for the more modern clear units at a cost of over 1500 pounds. Cosmetically, for the age, the car is very presentable. The wheels have been refurbished in the last 12 months prior to being wrapped in fresh rubber. There is a small bit of lacquer peel to the passenger side front wing. The car was last serviced under 1,000 miles ago and has MOT until 31/03/2027. Mechanically, as above, the car is spot on and ready to be used and enjoyed without any work necessary. The only small niggle to note is that since pulling the car out of winter storage this year, the passenger window no longer works. This has never affected using the car for me as I only ever drive it when the sun is out with the roof down! The car also only has 1.5 keys. Essentially, it has 2, but the spare is pretty much just a blade, the innards of it seemingly don't work. Private plate stays with the car. Located near Wedmore, Somerset.
