2009 (09) Land Rover Discovery 3 | 2.7 TDV6 Auto | 104,312 Miles | Full Service History | 2 Keys For sale is my 2009 (09) Land Rover Discovery 3 SE 2.7 TDV6 Automatic (EX09 EOU), showing 104,312 miles. I've owned the vehicle for nearly 3 years and overall has been an exceptionally reliable, comfortable and capable vehicle. The only reason for sale is that I've recently been provided with a company SUV, and with other financial commitments I can't justify keeping the Discovery anymore even though I'm sure I'll regret selling it. There are plenty of horror stories about Discoverys and Land Rovers in general however this is a genuine, well-maintained example with plenty of Service History, 2 keys, and a folder full of receipts documenting the maintenance carried out over the years. A previous owner kept on top of the maintenence including replacing the cambelts and fuel pump. I have continued to maintain the vehicle regardless of cost servicing it regularly and using only premium oil/parts. At 104,227 miles it received an oil service using Shell Helix Ultra 5W-30. The underside is in excellent condition with zero rust issues. In November I treated the entire underside myself using Jenolite for long-term protection. I also replaced the common-failure intercooler turbo hose with a upgraded silicone hose. Most recently, the vehicle has had a new driveshaft and inner CV boot fitted by a Land Rover specialist at a cost of 743. Mechanically, the vehicle is spot on. There are no knocks, bangs or unusual noises, and everything works exactly as it should, including the air suspension and electric handbrake both of which operate perfectly.
