2015 Mercedes-Benz C220d (W205) This car has been an excellent servant over the last 4 years and has never let me down. Around 90% of the mileage has been motorway driving as I travel all over the UK for work, which is far kinder on a car than short stop-start journeys. It has been serviced every year, meticulously maintained and has wanted for nothing. Tyres have been replaced regularly, it starts first time every time, the engine runs beautifully smooth, and the manual gearbox changes gears exactly as it should - smoothly and effortlessly. It really is a pleasure to drive. The car has covered 185,000 miles, but if you know Mercedes and the diesel engine, you'll know this is barely run in when they've been properly maintained. As with any 11-year-old car, it isn't perfect. It has: - A rear passenger-side brake caliper that will be replaced this weekend if the car isn't sold beforehand. - A very small ding next to the fuel filler cap from a car park door - it's genuinely tiny. - A few stone chips on the bonnet, which is to be expected from a car that's spent most of its life on the motorway. - The air conditioning could do with a regas. Overall, this is an exceptional example for its age and mileage. It's been reliable, economical, comfortable and has looked after me brilliantly. I'll be sorry to see it go, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
