A very clean and well-maintained example of the supercharged R53 Cooper S, covering only 54,350 miles with just two owners from new. These cars are becoming increasingly difficult to find in good condition, particularly with low mileage and sensible ownership history. The automatic Cooper S is also relatively uncommon, which was one of the main reasons I bought this particular car. The car has recently had a full major service, including: Full supercharger service Automatic gearbox oil service Engine oil and filter Air filter Pollen filter Spark plugs It has also recently had: Fresh MOT - carried out by a main dealer Air-conditioning re-gas New exhaust New front suspension components and linkages - carried out by BMW main dealer New radiator Fresh coolant New HT leads Four Goodyear tyres There have also been various other smaller items attended to during my ownership. The car has had two owners from new and is currently registered in trade through my company. I have owned it for around two years and, in reality, it has spent the majority of that time in dry storage. My original intention was to keep it long-term, but unfortunately other commitments mean I have decided to sell. One thing worth mentioning with these cars is oil leaks. This one has sat in storage for extended periods and has not left a drop of oil on the floor. For a 21-year-old car it presents extremely well, although please bear in mind that it is not a brand-new vehicle. There are some minor stone chips and age-related marks as you would expect. There is also a small area of bubbling underneath the right-hand rear tail light. I had intended to have this repaired but simply haven't had the time. I would rather mention it clearly in the advert so there are no surprises when viewing. Any inspection is welcome.
