Description
2001 Porsche Boxster S, 3.2L flat six with manual 6-speed gearbox. The car is mechanically perfect with extensive service history and an absolute gem to drive, both on long weekends away or on B roads. I'm reluctantly selling to free some cash for a house move.
Factory equipment includes half-electric seats, cruise control, and it has been upgraded with a Pioneer stereo with CD player and aux input for connecting your phone - I use a bluetooth adapter into the aux.
Recent maintenance highlights:
May 2026: Driver's side door actuator replaced
Feb 2026: coolant tank replaced
Nov 2025: new bonnet struts
July 2025: full service, break lines, exhaust manifold gasket replaced
Aug 2024: new spark plugs
Sept 2023: new water pump
Aug 2023: new headlight switch
Nov 2022: new battery
Sept 2022: new A/C condenser, o-rings, regas
In 2014 it received a new clutch, rear main seal, and PVC rear screen. I don't have paperwork confirming the IMS bearing, but it is very likely it was replaced when the gearbox was out, and the car has only covered 25k miles since.
All the usual Boxster weak spots are in good order:
A/C blows ice cold
Central locking and both boot releases work
Roof operates smoothly with no rips or leaks
Rear spoiler functions correctly
Windows (including the drop function) work perfectly
Clean MOTs for the last 3 years. I've always run on premium fuel (never E10). Priced to sell.
PS I have an auto reply on my phone. If you call me, you need to say the reason for calling before it will ring. Thank you.
