I purchased the car approximately three years ago on around 111,000 miles and it has covered only around 5,400 miles since, now showing 116,442 miles. During my ownership it has been serviced annually regardless of mileage and maintained to a high standard throughout. Whenever components have required replacement or attention, I have always taken the opportunity to improve the car sympathetically in an OEM+ manner rather than simply replacing parts with the cheapest available alternatives. The result is a Z3 that remains true to its original character whilst benefiting from carefully considered upgrades and ongoing investment. The car benefits from BC Racing coilover suspension, upgraded alloy wheels fitted with quality Falken tyres, upgraded headlights, upgraded kidney grilles, LED lighting throughout, Bluetooth stereo connectivity, a front strut brace for improved chassis rigidity and a custom stainless steel exhaust system. The straight-six engine sounds fantastic and delivers the sort of character and excitement that makes these cars increasingly desirable modern classics. The black leather interior presents well for its age and mileage, with all gauges, controls and switchgear functioning as they should. The car drives exactly as a Z3 should, feeling tight, responsive and engaging, whilst remaining comfortable enough for longer journeys. The electric hood operates correctly and the car is ready to be enjoyed immediately. Included in the sale are two keys, a comprehensive history file containing invoices and receipts from previous ownership, together with a dedicated ring binder documenting servicing, maintenance, upgrades and expenditure during my ownership. The original headlights have also been retained, boxed and stored, and will accompany the vehicle. As expected of a 25-year-old vehicle there are minor signs of age-related wear and tear, but nothing that has ever detracted from my enjoyment of the car and nothing that cannot be easily addressed by an enthusiast wishing to take the car even further. It has been maintained by an owner who genuinely enjoyed improving and preserving the car, and it represents a wonderful opportunity to own a BMW modern classic.
