In December 2024, the engine underwent a refresh rebuild by a classic car specialist, with long-term ownership in mind. New alternator and battery fitted in January 2025. A note on the engine refresh: Prior to my ownership where I used it everyday, the car had covered very low mileage, spending long periods only being used on special occasions. When the water pump and cam belt needed replacing due to age, my mechanic suggested carrying out a wider refresh at the same time as a preventative measure. As a result, the water pump, cambelt, cylinder head gasket, thermostat and other associated parts were renewed to prep the car for long-term use. The car is in brilliant condition, and is a reluctant sale as I need something bigger.
