For sale is my red 2012 Mazda MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech Roadster Coupe, with a 6-speed manual gearbox, limited-slip differential and about 78,200 miles. ONLY ONE PREVIOUS OWNER (I AM THE SECOND OWNER)! This car has been with me throughout my one-year master's degree in the UK and has been a memorable part of my time here. I am only selling it because I have now graduated and am preparing to leave the UK. This is the desirable 2.0 Sport Tech specification with a power-retractable hardtop, LSD, black heated leather seats, BOSE sound system, AUX input, 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and electric windows. The electric folding hardtop operates smoothly and reliably, and the car is great fun to drive with the roof either open or closed. Since I bought the car in August 2025, it has had substantial maintenance and the following new parts: - Performance-grade brake fluid - Both front brake calipers - PBS ProTrack performance front brake pads - Four matching Kumho Ecsta Sport 205/45 ZR17 88Y tyres, with strong dry and wet-weather grip - Air-conditioning refrigerant recharge; the A/C blows cold - Complete new centre exhaust section/mid-pipe with silencer, fitted after an exhaust leak was identified at MOT; the section was replaced rather than welded or patched - Both rear anti-roll bar drop links - Philips WhiteVision Ultra W5W 501 front position/sidelight bulbs - Upgraded bright H7 headlight bulbs The latest routine service was completed on 9 June 2026 and included engine oil, oil filter, air filter and gearbox oil. The car passed its latest MOT on 3 April 2026 with no advisories. The MOT is valid until 2 April 2027. The condition is honest for a 2012 car. It presents well overall, but has age-related marks including stone chips and scuffs on the front bumper, cloudy headlight lenses, kerb marks on the alloy wheels, wear to the seat bolsters and some interior trim, plus surface corrosion underneath. These areas are shown clearly in the photographs so buyers can assess the car before arranging a viewing. A video showing the electric folding hardtop operating is available on request.
