Description

Well-maintained GTD with FSH, cambelt/water pump done, DSG serviced to schedule and MOT until May 2027. Carbon Steel Grey Metallic | 2 keys | 3 owners A fantastic, unmodified example of a Mk7 Golf GTD Estate. I've owned the car for 4 years and it has been extremely well cared for, averaging only around 7,500 miles per year during my ownership. Mainly motorway miles. KEY FEATURES * 2.0 TDI GTD - Euro 6 diesel / ULEZ compliant * 6-speed DSG automatic * Adaptive Cruise Control * Heated seats * Apple CarPlay * 18" Nogaro diamond-cut alloy wheels * 4 premium tyres with loads of tread EXCELLENT MAINTENANCE HISTORY * Full service history, the majority carried out by VW * Recent servicing by a trusted independent specialist * Cambelt & water pump replaced * All DSG gearbox oil/filter services completed in accordance with VW schedule * Next oil service due in 8,300 miles / 286 days * Next inspection service due in 17,700 miles / 651 days * MOT until 30th May 2027 * Last MOT had **no advisories** CONDITION The car drives exactly as it should. The engine is smooth and pulls very strongly, the DSG gearbox is slick and quiet, and there are no knocks, rattles or squeaks. Air conditioning is ice cold, heated seats work perfectly and all other electrics are working correctly. It is a genuinely lovely car to drive quick when you want it to be, capable of around 50mpg, comfortable on long journeys and incredibly practical as an estate. There are, of course, a few age/mileage-related cosmetic imperfections, which I've tried to describe honestly: * Some minor stone chips, nothing major * Diamond-cut alloys have some dinks and lacquer delamination (a common issue with these wheels) * Driver's seat side bolster has the usual wear * Very small area of rust on one edge of the tailgate * One of the rear seat backs doesn't release using the remote lever in the boot. It releases normally using the lever on the seat itself and the seat can then be folded forward. None of these affect the car's mechanical performance or day-to-day use. WHY I'M SELLING Very reluctantly, to be honest. This is probably the best car I've ever owned and I had originally planned to keep it and run it well beyond 200,000 miles. Unfortunately, I've now gone over to the dark side and bought an electric car, so this one has to go. A very honest, well-maintained and mechanically excellent GTD that still has plenty of life left in it. Viewing welcome.
