Description
I have owned the car since April 2020. It has been a lot of fun but I really don't use it enough. The 3.2 litre engine sounds exactly as a Porsche should, a totally different experience to the 2.5l or 2.7l engine..
Pirelli Pzero N4 tyres fitted all round. The N4 specification tyre has been specifically homologated by Porsche. They make a massive difference to the handling and stability. The tyres all have approx. 6mm of tread on them.
I have had the suspension geometry set up for stability and it drives really well. Of course the the geometry is full adjustable so you can have it set up to your own requirements.
The 986S was given a coveted 5* rating by EVO Magazine.
The car has 9 Porsche Dealer service stamps (2004 -2013) the 2013 service being at 40,654 miles. There are 3 Porsche Specialist service stamps (2014, 2021, 2023,). There is a gap on service records between 2014 - 2020. My assumption is the owner during that period undertook there own servicing. I have kept up with required repairs such as replacement The car has not required any major work. The car comes with.

I have had the car maintained by an independent Porsches specialist during my ownership. Everything works, including the aircon which was refurbished on 2025.
I had a major service carried out in 2024 and embarrassingly have only done approx. 2000 miles since.
I had a problem getting good photos of the car as I took them in full sun. I will update with some better photos when I can.
