Description

2016 BMW 420d xDrive Gran Coup automatic, extensively maintained during my ownership and fitted with several desirable upgrades. Excellent specification including heated seats, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, aftermarket Android Auto, digital instrument cluster and upgraded audio with Vibe front speakers/tweeters and Match under-seat subwoofers. Exterior upgrades include a boot-lip spoiler, gloss-black rear diffuser sections and 19-inch 666M-style wheels with TPMS and four Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 FP XL non-run-flat tyres. The original 18-inch BMW M Sport wheels, also with TPMS, are available by agreement. Extensive recent mechanical work includes: Approx. 85k: Genuine BMW inner and outer tie rods, both sides Four-wheel alignment Pagid discs and pads all round Bosch handbrake shoe kit Both front brake splash shields Genuine BMW caliper bolts, slider pins and retaining clips Approx. 88k: Replacement battery, correctly registered Approx. 90k: Complete ZF automatic transmission service by a BMW specialist: integrated sump/filter, ZF fluid, bolts and adaptation reset Fuel filter Bosch Aerotwin wipers Upgraded all-metal handbrake retaining clip Approx. 95k: All four brake calipers replaced with Bosch units Complete brake-fluid replacement and bleed using BMW fluid Both horn units replaced with OE-frequency aftermarket units Approx. 98k: Genuine BMW driver's seat-base foam replaced Approx. 100k: Both front wishbones replaced with Lemfrder components Both front thrust/control arms and drop links replaced with genuine BMW components Both front shock absorbers replaced with Bilstein units Both front top mounts replaced with Corteco units Steering-rack thrust piece replaced by a BMW specialist Oil and filter servicing was completed approximately every 10k miles up to 80k, then every 5k thereafter, using MANN filters and Castrol Edge oil meeting BMW Longlife-04 specification. Exceptionally clean MOT history with consistent passes and no structural corrosion, emissions issues or significant mechanical failures recorded. The only failure was for ineffective wiper blades in 2020. Current MOT valid until 23 June 2027.
