The Arctic Edition was limited to 2,000 examples in the UK and came with a distinctive specification including full leather, heated seats and air conditioning. The car has been garaged throughout its life and was kept off the road in dry storage for approximately ten years before being recommissioned and returned to the road last year. As part of the recommissioning, it received a replacement timing belt and water pump, fuel injectors, spark plugs and battery. The engine oil and filters were changed, together with the brake fluid and gearbox oil, and a new set of tyres were fitted. This is a remarkable example of the Mk2.5 MX-5.
