The damage was caused by an impact with an animal and was limited to the visible front body panels. It received a brand-new genuine Mazda bonnet, brand-new front panel and brand-new front bumper. The front panel was the part responsible for the Cat S classification. Importantly, the crash bar was never touched, radiator pack remained completely intact, suspension was never damaged and no airbags or other airbag components were deployed or damaged. I actually purchased a radiator pack in advance expecting it might be needed, but once dismantled, the original was completely intact and did not require replacement. The car has now been properly repaired, aligned and road tested and drives perfectly straight with no warning lights or issues.
