I've owned this car for the past four years and have covered almost half of its total mileage myself. It's been absolutely fantastic throughout my ownership, a strong, reliable runner that has always started on the button. I've come across and dealt with many of the common issues associated with these cars during my ownership, fixing things as and when they've been required. This includes a genuine crankshaft sensor fitted by Sheffield German Mercedes Specialists, a replacement fuel canister/charcoal filter, fuel flap actuator, and most recently, a new drive belt pulley and tensioner fitted last week. It's also had new window switches and various smaller items replaced due to general wear and tear. I've always tried to keep the car clean, tidy and mechanically well maintained. It has been run exclusively on Shell V Power during my ownership, with plenty of receipts to prove it. Whether it actually makes a difference or not, it certainly feels like it runs better on it! Upgrades include: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto touchscreen, retaining the original Mercedes menu system while also offering a full Android system with apps such as Netflix and YouTube Carbon steering wheel with a great feel, sporty appearance and plenty of grip Reverse camera Genuine 19 inch multi spoke alloy wheels Michelin Pilot Sport tyres with plenty of tread remaining PiperCross induction kit Decat downpipe Carbon side skirts The car is mechanically running absolutely fantastic. It starts on the button, boosts exactly as it should and has always been a proper thrasher. The induction kit and decat were already fitted when I bought the car, while the software remains completely standard. This means it is effectively Stage 2 ready if the new owner wishes to go down that route, but I've deliberately kept it standard and enjoyed the improved induction and exhaust note as it is. It sounds great without being excessively loud. Cosmetically, it's not perfect and I want to be upfront about that. The lower sections have some stone chips and there are the odd dings here and there, but for a 12 year old car it still gets plenty of compliments and presents very well.
