A very rare little VW indeed. A genuine never messed with, low mileage GT. Completely factory standard except slight enhancements for modern roads and traffic. recently been subject to a comprehensive recommissioning after twenty years undercover in storage. The car has been carefully stripped down with all parts inspected replaced or overhauled even the bolts. For me to list the level to detail put into this "restoration to as near to factory fresh" would be a long exercise. A full list of work done can be supplied upon request. (All parts used OEM or better.) The car now drives as good as it did when new, with absolutely nothing to attend to for many miles to come. This Mk2F GT was one of the last off the production line. Built on the 27th May 1994, it was road registered on September 29th 1994, one month after the very last one rolled off production. It then lead a very charmed life in the South of England being used as a second VW car for most of its on the road years. The car has never been thrashed, crashed or abused very clearly. The first owner owned the GT until 1997 until its second owners purchased it and no doubt ensured its survival in this condition to this day. These two owners clearly loved the car and ended up storing it securely in 2007. After the both of them passed away I was lucky enough to purchase it to get it back to today's high standard. The GT is still wearing its factory applied paint job hiding absolutely nothing of its 33 year existence. It contains its original patina, a few tiny dints and scratches but nothing remarkable. It still looks fabulous when cleaned up. As can be expected its interior is barely worn, it contains slight sun damage to the colours on the fabric but still very original and presentable. All switchgear and controls are as one would expect from such careful use, very tight and precise. (VW built proper hardwearing cars back in the day). During the recommissioning strip down every void was accessed inspected by an endoscopic camera and fully lanoguarded to ensure that this car stays as good as it is for many years to come. As can be seen from the pictures the car still wears its original VW applied underseal which has been fully inspected and attended to due to slight cracking with age. Again a full breakdown of the work undertaken will be supplied upon agreed purchase with a full report authored. So all in all we have a "as good as new" 1994 VW Polo GT unmodified with very low miles and low owners.
