The engine has been completely rebuilt by The VW Engine Company increasing capacity from 1300 to 1641cc. It has new Twin Webber Carburettors with a fuel cut of solenoid. New Fuel Pump and Electronic Ignition. Billeted Crank Shaft and Alternator pulleys. New Vintage Speed Twin Exhaust system, fitted with Original VW Lemmerz "GT" Sports Wheels.
