Description

Very well cared for BMW 220d M Sport that has been washed weekly, including regular underbody washes, and maintained to a high standard throughout my ownership. The car was recently inspected by BMW, who advised it is in near-perfect mechanical condition. Reason for sale: House deposit All four alloy wheels have recently been professionally refurbished, and the car is fitted with quality Continental rear tyres and Pirelli front tyres. It drives exactly as it should, with no knocks or unwanted noises. I've only ever run this car on premium diesel throughout my ownership. Every 2,000 miles (or approximately every three months), I've used quality injector cleaner, DPF cleaner and engine cleaner to help keep the engine and fuel system in excellent condition. It's always been warmed up properly before being driven hard, and I've never cut corners when it comes to maintenance. The paddle shifters allow you to switch into manual mode, making it great fun to drive on faster roads while still being comfortable, refined and economical for everyday use. With 0-60 mph in just 6.8 seconds, it's the perfect entry-level BMW, offering a great balance of performance, comfort and fuel economy. The car has a partial service history. The previous owner was a mechanic who carried out much of the maintenance himself and kept receipts for all the parts and work completed in the vehicle. Unfortunately, after I purchased the car, I had it professionally valeted and the receipts were mistakenly thrown away, as they were thought to be rubbish. This is the reason the history is only partial, not because the car wasn't maintained. As expected for a car of this age, there are a few age-related marks and small dents. The most noticeable is a small dent on the right rear wheel arch, although it isn't particularly obvious unless it's pointed out. I'd rather be completely transparent so there are no surprises for the next owner. This has been a fantastic car and has never let me down. It has been genuinely cherished and maintained to a very high standard, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. I'm only selling as I'm moving on to a different vehicle. I believe the first person to view it will appreciate how well it's been looked after.
