Bought during lockdown in 2020, has been driven only a few weeks a year during the Summer months. Had key work (2000 GBP) done to it in August 2026 by Landrover specialist Ian Moss which included; - Brand New Battery - Removed Diesel Pump and sent for rebuild - Removed Injectors and sent for service & repair - Replaced failed clutch master cylinder - Bled out clutch system - Replaced front brake shoes and adjusted - Replaced four glow plugs and repaired wiring to light Starts every time and is a great drive (especially given its age). Could do with a respray but we purposely kept the 'patina' look. Currently unattached hard top comes with it (plus two spare doors and a spare bonnet!). Original ad from the previous owner; "Rebuilt in 1997, by CMS Motors, run by Clive MacDonald Smith of LRO Magazine fame (technical expert), on a galvanized chassis. In recent conversations with him he told me of its history. This includes a re-built engine, a replacement gearbox, new swivels, brake lines, flexi, exhaust (at the time!) etc. This vehicle was subsequently bought and sold by john brown landrovers (locally) some time ago, but owing to a change ni circumstances, the customer has reluctantly had to part with it. With al of the history put together, john brown landrovers know where this Landrover has lived since new!"
