It is finished in the classic military-style green and has been used sparingly throughout its life primarily as a hobby vehicle in connection with voluntary countryside work.

Preservation & Modifications
On acquisition in 1988, the chassis was drilled and injected with Waxoyl for long-term corrosion protection
A roll-over bar (ROPS) was fitted to the rear of the vehicle for safety
Mechanical History
2009 onwards: Land Rover long-wheelbase brakes fitted to rear wheels; servo unit installed
2013: changed wheels and tires fitted 7.50 x 16, General "SAGS" pattern
2016: New clutch fitted
2021: Engine removed and fully rebuilt: rebore, crankshaft reground, cylinder head converted for unleaded fuel, engine reassembled; new starter motor fitted
