1991 Rover Mini 1000 City E - Nut & Bolt Restored - British Mini Club Valued For sale is my much-loved 1991 Rover Mini 1000 City E, extensively nut-and-bolt restored in 2021 and still in outstanding condition inside, outside and underneath. It was also professionally valued by the British Mini Club two years ago. For complete transparency, the Mini is recorded as Category D, which predates my ownership. I don't know the exact circumstances, but in nearly 6 years of ownership it has never caused me any issues. More importantly, the car subsequently underwent its extensive 2021 restoration/rebuild and I welcome any inspection. Detailed underside photos are included so buyers can judge its excellent current condition for themselves. Within the last 12 months it has also been professionally fully wrapped in bright red with an ivory white roof, giving it a stunning fresh appearance while protecting the paintwork beneath. Maintained regardless of cost, it has been serviced annually throughout my ownership and has passed every MOT without issue. It comes with 12 months MOT with no advisories and has recently been serviced. Upgrades/work include a stainless Fletcher twin exhaust, new SU carburettor, head gasket replacement with skimmed cylinder head, new Nankang tyres, 12x6 Minilite alloys, walnut dashboard, matching steering wheel/gear knob and a complete custom interior. The red and black interior features embossed Union Jack seats and door cards, chrome trim, red seat belts, LED lighting and Perspex rear speaker board. The bodywork is rust-free, with colour-coded underside and arches in excellent condition. Exterior upgrades include chrome mirrors, wipers and bumpers, early-style moustache grille, ultra-wide arches and LED rear fog lights. The Mini has been incredibly reliable, even serving as my wedding car in snowy November conditions. It starts first time from cold and drives beautifully. Mileage is 84,979, which may rise slightly as it's still being enjoyed at Mini shows. I've covered only around 3,500 miles in nearly 6 years, which is the reason for selling.
