1989 Ford Escort XR3i A fantastic piece of Ford history that still gets plenty of attention and comments wherever it goes. I've owned the car for a few years and it has always been kept garaged. From what I've been told has been mostly garaged for its life.( no cracked dashboard, no badly sun-faded interior and no sagging parcel shelf) This isn't being advertised as a concours example or a garage queen. It's a 37-year-old XR3i and, in my opinion, a very good, honest survivor. The sort of classic you can actually get out, drive and enjoy rather than being afraid to use. The car is currently stored in a garage away from my home address, so I'll be making the trip over shortly to take some additional photographs and videos, which I'll add to the advert. It comes with LOADS of history, old paperwork and receipts, and the original alloy wheels are also included with the car. I'm in no rush to sell, and I'm looking for the right buyer rather than simply the quickest sale. So, respectfully, please don't expect me to accept 6,000 and a Mars bar for a "quick sale"! I'd much rather see the car go to someone who genuinely appreciates what it is an increasingly rare piece of Ford history that can be enjoyed as intended. Serious buyers only, please.
