Description

PORSCHE CAYMAN 2.7 | GUARDS RED | 2007 | 78,000 MILES | FULL SERVICE HISTORY | PRIVATE PLATE INCLUDED Reluctantly offering my 987 Cayman 2.7 in the iconic Guards Red. I've owned the car for coming up on four years and it has genuinely never skipped a beat. No known faults, no warning lights, nothing on the list. It starts, drives and sounds exactly as a flat-six Cayman should. Specification and upgrades: Guards Red with brown leather interior, a proper period-correct combination Private registration M60 YAJ included in the sale. It came with the car four years ago and I'm more than happy for it to stay with it Factory Porsche side liveries and decals Upgraded 911 alloy wheels Maxton Design body kit, fitted a few years ago Headlining freshly reupholstered in red suede to tie in with the exterior, a recent and professionally finished job Aftermarket Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay History and condition: Full service history. 78,000 miles, which for a 987 of this age is sensible, honest mileage. These engines are happiest being used. The car has been driven and enjoyed as intended, and stored off-road on my private driveway. In the interest of complete honesty: Guards Red and UV are old enemies, so there are signs of wear to the paintwork in places, including an area of lacquer that has suffered. This is all clearly shown in the photographs. I'd far rather you see it up front than be surprised on arrival. Mechanically the car owes nothing. Reason for sale: Purely practicality. A new arrival in the family means we now need two SUVs, and a two-seat sports car simply doesn't fit the brief any more. It's a sad sale, as this car has been my pride and joy. Please note: Serious buyers only. The car is priced fairly for what it is and what's been spent on it, so please don't waste your time or mine with low offers. I'm in no rush. I'd particularly like it to go to someone who knows and appreciates Porsche, and who'll look after it the way I have. Happy to answer any sensible questions and viewings are welcome by appointment.
