This 2 litre 1982 calypso was originally a 1.6 with a 4 speed box and steel wheels I purchased it in May 2017 from a friend of mine who had owned it for 3 years , he was moving house so needed to sell it. He had purchased it from someone who had the car for a number of years. The car previous to that had been stored in a barn for approximately 15 years. He had the RS 2000 wheels added and put in the 2 litre engine with a 5 speed box in the car. This 2 litre engine after doing some research most likely came from a 1979 capri. the block and head are factory matched, it has been compression tested, which is bang on. The doner engine has only done the last 6500 miles. The car has always been well maintained, and since I have owned it, it has always been garaged. it has just had a new cam belt and water pump. It was resprayed approx 4 years ago. For an old Ford, it is a good starter, its fun to drive and always creates attention where ever I go. Its not showroom condition, but very good condition and a great investment. I am selling due to recent health issues and needing 2 knee replacements. The asking price is 13750 ONO.
