Description
I've owned the car for the past three years, but it simply isn't getting the use it deserves. During my ownership I've driven it around 3,000 miles, so it's covered very little distance.
Overall, it's in great condition for its age, with excellent paintwork that still looks fantastic. There are a few minor jobs that could be done to make it perfect, but nothing serious.
I'm only selling because we now have young children and too many dogs, so the car is no longer practical for us. We also no longer have garage storage, and it's a car that really deserves a better home where it can be used and appreciated rather than sitting unused.
As a hard top, the car is excellent. However, there are a couple of minor points to mention:
* The soft top's vinyl rear window cracked and has since been removed, so the car is currently being used as a hard top only. Replacing the rear window is approximately **500** for a new vinyl window or around **1,500** for a glass conversion, including fitting.
* I have two keys. The remote central locking fob stopped working after the battery went flat and hasn't been repaired, although the keys themselves are included.
During my ownership, I've replaced the front radiator and the oil cooler system. These are well-known maintenance items on cars of this age, so it's reassuring to know they've already been taken care of.
The car presents very well overall and is in excellent condition for a vehicle of its age. It's been a pleasure to own, and I'm sure the next owner will enjoy it just as much.
I've priced the car accordingly. The original asking price was **16,000**, but I've reduced it to **14,000** to reflect the cost of replacing the rear window. I believe this represents excellent value for someone looking for a well-maintained, low-mileage example.
