This has been a fantastic car to own and is a great example with an excellent specification. Finished in dark grey with a light cream interior and silver 7-spoke alloy wheels, it's a really classy colour combination that suits the car perfectly. Being the facelift model, it benefits from the larger 4.7-litre engine and the highly desirable ZF automatic gearbox, which is widely regarded as being more reliable and much smoother to use than the earlier F1 transmission. It also has an X-pipe fitted to the exhaust, the same setup as the GTS, which gives it a fantastic sound under acceleration without being over the top. The service history is extensive, with the car having been maintained throughout its life by Maserati main dealers and recognised Maserati specialists. The history is fully documented and reflects how well the car has been cared for. Overall, the car is in good condition for its age. The exterior has a few light age-related marks as you'd expect, while the interior shows some minor wear and has the usual sticky buttons that many Maseratis (and Ferraris) of this era are known for. The only issue worth mentioning is an occasional "Window Safety Failure" warning on the dashboard. All of the windows work exactly as they should, and my Maserati specialist has advised that it's nothing to be concerned about. This is a well-maintained, well-specified example that sounds every bit as special as it looks. It's been a pleasure to own and I'm sure the next owner will enjoy it just as much.
