I bought the car 5 years ago, as a birthday present for my wife. The previous owner had conducted a totally comprehensive body off, bare metal rebuild and restoration, also including complete engine, gearbox and suspension rebuild. No expense was spared, nor detail left unattended-i believe it took him 2 years. He gave me a photo album, containing tens of shots of progress during the work-you can see a small sample in the attached photos, as well as photos of the album , and of a huge file of matters related to the work conducted. Since then we have completed just 2000 miles and I have scrupulously had any minor niggles immediately sorted, and regular full services have been conducted. (All documented). The mechanicals are extraordinary-and I have happily paid to correct any other small problems that have arisen-it was a present for my wife, so I've wanted it to be as perfect as possible. Virtually new tyres all round. Given the small mileage covered since restoration the car is obviously still in amazing condition. During our ownership i have uncovered a few niche sellers of spare parts and of course i will share details of those vendors with any buyer. I also have original handbooks.
