A beautifully original Guards Red Porsche 944, one of the first 'oval dash' examples, with its original Black interior featuring factory grey pinstripe cloth comfort seats with leather bolsters. Owned by us since March 2012, this is an exceptionally well-preserved, well-loved, unmodified example with outstanding provenance. Accompanied by its original stamped Porsche service book, a substantial history file and extensive supporting invoices, the car has been maintained by Official Porsche Centres and respected Porsche specialists throughout its life. Service History Highlights: 1985-1992: Nine documented Porsche main dealer services in the UK (857-37,777 miles). 1993: Exported to the original owner's home in the Netherlands. 1994-2002: Seven further Porsche Centre services (42,766-71,548 miles). 2004-2011: Maintained by JJ Car Service, Den Haag, including a major timing belt, balance belt and water pump service at 75,354 miles (2009) and fuel pump relay replacement (2011). March 2012: Re-imported to the UK (fully documented) and acquired by us. 2012-2026: Annual MOTs and Servicing by Burcham Car Group. The history file includes the original stamped Porsche maintenance book, Porsche main dealer stamps from both the UK and the Netherlands, original invoices, MOT history and documentation supporting the car's export to, and subsequent re-import from, the Netherlands. Having covered just 87,858 miles, this 944 presents beautifully and remains remarkably original throughout, right down to its factory grey pinstripe cloth interior. An exceptionally well-documented survivor with provenance rarely found today. It would be difficult to find a more original or better-documented Porsche 944. The car is currently registered on the mark appropriate, cherished registration 'A944 LUX', which is not included in the sale but is available by separate negotiation.
