2017 BMW M140i - Melbourne Red - Rare Spec - Enthusiast Owned I'm reluctantly putting my M140i up for sale as I'm moving into a new role with a company car. If that wasn't happening, I'd be keeping it. This is a 2017 Melbourne Red M140i, one of the rarer colours, and it took me several months to find the right car. It's been enthusiast owned and very well cared for throughout my ownership. It's a particularly high-spec example with some genuinely rare and expensive options/upgrades: Harman Kardon sound system Heated electric M2 Competition seats High-spec OLED head unit with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Full dry carbon interior - a very rare and expensive extra which I travelled across the country to source Working M1/M2 steering wheel buttons M Performance Exhaust Sports Cat Bootmod3 (BM3) Stage 2+ Eibach lowering springs M Performance-style splitter, spoiler & diffuser Recent M Performance brake discs & high-quality ATE Performance pads Recent gearbox oil & engine oil services Recent MOT Dash cam For me, the M140i is the ultimate all-rounder. It's quiet, comfortable and sensible when you need it to be, with five doors and plenty of practicality for family duties, but this particular car also has a premium interior that makes it feel genuinely special. Then, with a few clicks of the buttons, it transforms into a genuinely exciting, seriously fast and rewarding car to drive. I've previously owned an N55 M2 and, honestly, I prefer this car. The combination of the B58, practicality and performance makes it incredibly difficult to replace. It's probably my favourite car I've owned, and I think these cars represent the end of an era for six-cylinder BMW hatchbacks. This particular example also has a rare and special specification which took me a long time to put together. I'm happy to sell it as it currently stands at a reduced asking price for an easy sale. Alternatively, if the right buyer isn't found, I may return it closer to standard and sell the modifications separately. A very well cared-for, enthusiast-owned M140i with a rare specification.
