Description
Peugeot 205 GTi 1.6 - 2.0 GTi6 16V - Jenvey Throttle Bodies
A very special Peugeot 205 GTi, originally a 1.6 GTi, which I have owned for the last 6 years and completely rebuilt and developed during my ownership.
If you want a 205 that retains the looks and character of the original GTi but is faster, handles better, stops better and most importantly starts every time you want to take it for a drive, this is exactly that.
The car already had a 2.0 Peugeot GTi6 16V engine fitted when I bought it. Since then, I have invested heavily in the car, including a major mechanical rebuild and development by Pug1Off, one of the UK's renowned Peugeot specialists.
The September 2024 Pug1Off invoice alone totals 18,792.44 including VAT and is supplied with the car.

BODY:
The car underwent a comprehensive restoration approximately 5 years ago, including extensive underside welding, a new boot floor and new rubber seals throughout.
It is also the desirable original non-sunroof shell.
INTERIOR:
The interior has been refurbished using parts from Youngtimers Classic, another renowned Peugeot specialist, including grey leather seat covers, new seat foams, rear shelf covering, boot insulation and boot mat. The carpets have been re-dyed red.
This is not an untouched factory-original car. It is an enthusiast-built GTi6 that retains the classic 205 GTi looks while being faster, better handling, better braking and considerably more usable.
I have owned it for 6 years and have spent a huge amount of time and money making it what it is today. The reason for sale is simply that I have recently bought a Porsche GT3 RS and need to make some garage space.
A genuinely special 205 GTi built to be driven and enjoyed.
