Description
48,400 miles. 2 UK Owners. First registered in Japan during June 2005, imported back into Britain August 2010. The vehicle went through SVA with VOSA on 30th August 2010 (40,006km). It appears that the speedo was then converted to mph. But it broke, so it was replaced with a second-hand unit showing 12,265 miles on it (when it should have shown 25,500 miles). All on Gov.uk MoT history for complete transparency.
I purchased the car on the 7th May 2016 from Millennium Classics in Surrey (part of the Octane Group) and I have only done 1,000 miles since then. Having had several other vehicles and a demanding job, the car spent 10 years in storage. Never driven in the rain, or winter, so no rust.
Mods = Bilstein B16 PSS9 suspension, ITG Maxogen Carbon Fibre Air Intake.
Tegiwa 2.75" diameter Resonated Exhaust system with 3.5" tailpipe.
Yellow Speed Racing big brake upgrade with 6 pot callipers and 330mm slotted discs on aluminium bells, plus fast road pads. The rear has new Tegiwa grooved discs with fast road pads. Goodridge braided brake lines.
10mm hub centric wheel spacers all round. Nankang NS-2R 205/45 R17 tyres not even scrubbed in yet.
New clutch slave cylinder and upgraded braided stainless steel hoses.
The original suspension, brakes and airbox come with the car, so if you wanted to return it to standard spec, the mods would likely sell for a substantial amount of money.
Recently recommissioned with new NGK Iridium spark plugs, fresh Motul engine oil and genuine filter, new gearbox oil and Honda specific blue coolant. The aircon has been re-gassed and blows ice cold. The brake fluid has also been flushed and replaced with Motul RBF660.
The only issues I'm aware of are a broken release lever (to tilt the seat forward) and a clip for the under thigh adjustment. Both on the drivers seat.
I have a comprehensive file of documentation (except the importation which must have been done by the first UK owner). This folder contains the original Japanese brochures and manual, plus many invoices, MoT's etc.
The car has 2 keys and one remote locking fob, plus a Thatcham Cat 1 immobiliser with both keys and the paperwork to prove it's installation to an insurance company.
I'm only selling it as I am now retired and suffering from health problems, but thus is a rare vehicle that is one of only 1,000 facelifted JDM EP3's originally exported to Japan. Only a small proportion were ever imported back into the UK.
