Extremely rare M3 evolution saloon (4 door) in cosmos black complete with factory fit GT spoiler and contour alloys. 1996(N) This is a proper, original, unmodified example of BMW modern-classic M3 icon increasingly hard to find in standard form. I've owned this beautiful car for over 22 years and tucked it away in the corner of the garage back in 2015 as it had started to look a little tired. To keep the car as BMW designed it to be, we undertook a meticulous restoration spending thousands with the main dealership and specialist suppliers. Beginning in August '24, on a mission to eradicate every possibility of rust; Wings, sills, jacking points, rear wheel arches, two doors, a boot lid, the whole rear panel were all replaced. With the suspension and drive chain removed the underbody had the same meticulous treatment. While the metal was bare, a full set of chassis and subframe strengthening plates were welded into the known weak spots on these cars. The suspension has all been blasted and painted. All bushes and bolts replaced. New shock absorbers all round. New brake pipes, hoses and refurbished callipers to complement the new discs. After all this work was completed, a full glass out respray was then carried out and the alloys were refurbished. The engine has had careful recommissioning, with many new parts. Even the gear linkage had wear parts replaced to ensure the gear change got its 'feel' back.
