Description
Selling on behalf of my parents who have sadly split up. The car is garaged and run regularly. I have massive nostalgia for this car as it was bought by my dad in 2007 when the car was 1 year old and when I was around 17 years old and it was just the coolest thing in the world.
It's one of the last ever E46 M3s to come off the production line in Regensburg. They stopped production of the convertible in Aug 2006, and this car was first registered 29th June 2006.
The car was garaged and didn't really move since COVID. Earlier this year I moved it to mine, changed the registered keeper to my name, and sent it the mechanics to be put back into service. It's just had the following done:
- Engine oil 10W-60 and filters
- VANOS oil filter and O-rings replaced
- New Kumho tyres
- New front discs
- New front and rear pads and sensors
- New NSR shock spring
- New EXIDE EA852 battery
- MOT (passed no advisories at 46588 miles)
Currently garaged next to my motorcycles (so that means it's in a warm, dry garage), and driven regularly by me.
Prior key work:
44077 miles: inspection 2 service, fitted new rocker cover gasket
46396 miles: all wheels refinished
46579 miles: new alternator, oil service.
Stuffed with all the extras you'd want: wind deflector, electric seats, CD changer, TV, navigation, cruise control, gorgeous soft kiwi leather interior.
I honestly believe a manual convertible E46 is the best M3 you can get. Listening to the exhaust and intake notes bounce off hedgerows with the roof down on a sunny summer weekend is the greatest feeling.
